Color Tackboard Cork

Color Cork (see samples) is a premium resilient decorative tack surface. This unique natural homogeneous material offers a self-healing pushpin colored Cork Bulletin Board surface with the color throughout.  Colored Cork is processed and calendared onto natural jute backing. The product contains no harmful byproducts or carcinogens.

Color Cork offers a decorative Cork board surface for use as an accent surface or as part of a bulletin board system. Color Cork is often used under elevated cabinets just above counter top working surfaces to provide either color coordination or accent color and provide a productive wall use, otherwise, dead wall space. Of course, Color Cork is excellent as a bulletin board wall above a chair rail. About 30” above the floor and running the 48” width horizontal provides a seamless bulletin board in Color Cork.

For full wall requirements, we recommend vertical installation, which will result in seam or joints every 48”, which will be more or less visible depending on the expertise of the installer. However, if joints are a major concern, we suggest either decorative 1/2” or 1” strips of either wood, polished, or brushed metal to hide. This only accents a unique decorative wall and does not affect function.

Standard thickness is 1/4” by 48” wide. The standard roll length is about 90 feet depending on stock. Colored Cork offers high-density tack surface with the color throughout for accent statements in these colors.
