The Big Apple Series represents the ultimate In
design and function. By utilizing threaded clips, the core,
trim, tray and mounting mechanism are firmly secured and become one
integral unit. Its unique design complies with the New York City
Board or Education and the NYC School Construction Authority
specifications. Most current NYC School's replacement chalk boards
are Big Apple Series products. The standard full-length
factory-installed mounting rail provides unsurpassed stability,
safety, and ease of installation. This unique mounting system uses the
weight of the board to keep it pressed flush against the wall The
factory installed heavy-duty aluminum chalk tray features a smooth
closed-end design with no sharp edges. Add Options include a 1" or 2"
Cork Display Rail. Boards up to 4'x6' are hung using "Industry
Standard" “L-Clips". 4'x8' and larger are hung using "Z-Clips".
The 28 ga. Ceramicsteel P3
surface makes this markerboard durable and easy to write on and
erase. Surface is suitable for magnets. Markerboard surface
